NS C13(I think) has jusz crossed the Ohio River from Steubenville OH, into Weirton WV. It's too bad it sas so hazy, and damp because the background of this shot is almost completely obscured, showing little detail.

NS coil train leaves Wheeling Pitt plant heading east(compass north). The bad news is that power is the same two units I photographed two days earlier on C13 in Weirton. Still I love the old high nose GeePs.

Description:
Coil train moves north through Rayland as my dad John looks on. Somewhat of a railfan himself, he also enjoys watching the old GeePs rumble through. He remembers the good old days when the Ohio Valley was a bustling hub of rail activity. We've both often lamented the lack of photos of this area in its heyday when everyone took it for granted.
